MR-16 quartz halogen bulbs in a regular light bulb socket

(Edison medium base) as well as adapters for using a smaller

bulb in a larger socket or a larger bulb in a smaller socket.

Many ceiling fans are being made with Intermediate base

(E-17) light sockets.

As the selection of intermediate base light bulbs is very

limits many people are using an E17 (intermediate base) to

E12 (American candelabra) socket reducer and then screwing

an E12 to E26 medium base (standard light bulb socket) into

it.

MR-16 to a standard Edison Medium Base (E-26) socket adapter by

Light It Technologies.

These are made in Montana and have spring backed clips which aid

in securely holding a two-pin MR-16 floodlight in place.

These are filled with a potting compound for added strength.

These adapters do NOT change the voltage - whatever voltage

goes into this adapter, is the same as what comes out.

This reducer screws into a German base light socket and allows

you to use readily available candelabra base light bulbs.

discover that replacement bulbs are very difficult to find in the U.S.
