Tab Insulator - Terminal Cover, also known as a terminal insulator.
These are an added measure of safety when a battery system is located in an
area where people may come in contact with it.
They are required by some insurance underwriters.
A) Tab Insulator for 8 ga. to 2 ga. wire & cable.
Fits over a terminal with an outside diameter up to 0.87", app. 1" deep.
QuickCable part number: RED is 5743R and Black is 5743B.

Garden Tractor & "L" Terminal Covers:
Made in the U.S.A.
These covers were originally designed for use on garden
tractors, generators and portable power equipment.
They are an excellent safety enhancement for use with deep
cycle batteries having "flag" or "tab" terminals.
Many AGM (absorbed glass mat) sealed batteries have
terminals which are well suited for use with these covers.
Accepts 8 gauge to 4 gauge cable.
The internal dimensions are approximately:
1-1/8" deep by 1" side to side by 1-1/4" front to back (curve to flat.)
Many people are using these on sealed AGM batteries.
